PANEL ESTIMATION ENGINEER

Key Responsibilities:

1. Understanding Client Requirements:

• Analyze tender documents, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Coordinate with sales and design teams to clarify client needs.

1. Cost Estimation:

• Prepare detailed BOQ (Bill of Quantity) and cost sheets for electrical panels.
• Estimate material, labor, manufacturing, and overhead costs.
• Update costing database with vendor prices and market trends.

1. Technical Proposal Preparation:

• Prepare techno-commercial offers with clear technical specifications.
• Provide alternate solutions to optimize cost without compromising quality.

1. Vendor Coordination:

• Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Ensure timely and competitive pricing from vendors.

1. Support to Sales/Project Teams:

• Assist in preparing commercial offers and tender submissions.
• Support during technical discussions and customer meetings.

1. Documentation & Handover:

• Maintain detailed estimation records for awarded and lost projects.
• Provide handover to design and production teams post order confirmation.
