About the Role

UEC is looking for a Technical Service Associate to join its Solar Department. The role involves data analysis for solar power generation and project performance, and working across proprietary company software as well as Government Systems (Gujarat Energy Transmission Corporation) systems. This is an on-site, execution-focused role reporting into the technical/project team.

Key Responsibilities

Perform data analysis for solar power generation and project performance

Enter and maintain records across company-developed software platforms and Government systems/portals

Support solar project documentation and reporting as instructed by reporting manager/supervisor

Work within timelines and shift schedules directed by the company

Adapt to changes in scope of work based on ongoing client/customer service contracts

Coordinate with internal teams to ensure accuracy and timely completion of assigned tasks

Who Can Apply

Freshers: Diploma in Electrical/ B.Sc: Mathematics with Computer Applications, B.Sc in Mathematics, Physics /related field; training will be provided

Experienced: 2-2.5 years of experience, prior solar/renewable energy exposure (preferred)

*Candidates from any technical educational background with strong willingness to learn will be considered, even without direct solar industry exposure

Skills Required

Basic to intermediate proficiency in MS Excel / data entry tools

Familiarity with solar energy concepts and Government processes (preferred, not mandatory for freshers)

Good attention to detail and willingness to learn company-specific software

Ability to work in-office and follow assigned shift timings

Strong learning attitude more important than prior domain expertise for entry-level candidates
