Job Description:

We are looking for a passionate and innovative Mechanical Design Engineer who is not only skilled in CAD modeling but is also excited to work on new product development and challenging engineering projects.

The ideal candidate should be capable of handling machine design, assemblies, concept development, and practical problem-solving while working closely with the fabrication and electronics teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop mechanical systems, machine assemblies, and industrial products

Create detailed 3D models and manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks

Work on new product development and prototype design

Develop sheet metal, fabricated, and machined component assemblies

Coordinate with production/fabrication teams for practical implementation

Perform design improvements and troubleshooting of existing machines

Participate in brainstorming and concept development for innovative projects

Ensure designs are manufacturable, cost-effective, and functional

Required Skills:

Strong knowledge of SolidWorks (Part, Assembly, Drawings)

Good understanding of machine design and mechanical assemblies

Understanding of fabrication, machining, tolerances, and manufacturing processes

Ability to convert concepts into practical designs

Problem-solving attitude and innovative thinking

Team player with good communication skills

Willingness to work on multidisciplinary and experimental projects

Preferred:

Experience in industrial machine design or automation

Knowledge of 3D printing technologies

Basic understanding of motors, motion systems, and pneumatic systems

Hands-on approach towards prototyping and testing

Experience:

Fresher with strong practical skills or experienced candidates are both welcome
