Kitchen Helper

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Cook/Chef in daily food preparation and cooking activities.
• Wash, peel, cut, and clean vegetables and other food ingredients.
• Assist in preparing meals, snacks, tea, and other food items as required.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen, utensils, cooking equipment, and food preparation areas.
• Wash and clean cooking utensils, vessels, plates, and other kitchen equipment.
• Assist in serving meals to employees.
• Ensure food items are properly stored and handled.
• Help with loading, unloading, and arranging grocery and kitchen supplies.
• Maintain proper hygiene and follow food safety standards.
• Support the kitchen team during busy meal-serving hours.
• Minimize food wastage and maintain cleanliness throughout the shift.
• Perform other kitchen-related duties assigned by the Cook/Kitchen Supervisor.

Candidate Requirements

• Prior experience as a Kitchen Helper, Canteen Helper, Hotel Helper, Mess Helper, or similar role will be an advantage.
• Freshers can also be considered.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Good personal hygiene and cleanliness.
• Physically fit and comfortable standing for extended periods.
• Punctual, disciplined, and responsible.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
