We are having an ongoing opportunity for Finance Controller to be based Ahmedabad Gujarat, with an Agro Processing company, operational across UK, USA, Tanzania & India; details of which are as mentioned below.


Roles & Responsibilities:


Financial Management & Reporting

• Oversee day-to-day accounting and financial activities across all business units.

• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, management

reports, and MIS.

• Monitor and analyze financial performance, providing insights to management

for strategic decisions.


Budgeting, Forecasting & Cost Control

• Lead the annual budgeting and rolling forecast processes.

• Conduct variance analysis to track performance against budgets and forecasts.

• Drive cost optimization initiatives and ensure efficient utilization of financial

resources.

• Monitor and manage product costing, inventory valuation, and pricing margins.


Compliance & Audit

• Ensure full compliance with local tax laws, VAT, income tax, and other statutory

regulations in Kenya.

• Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies.

• Develop and strengthen internal audit systems and risk management frameworks.


Treasury & Cash Flow Management

• Manage working capital, fund flow, and banking operations to maintain adequate

liquidity.

• Oversee foreign exchange management and coordinate with banks on LC,

import/export transactions, and remittances.

• Ensure timely vendor and supplier payments while maintaining optimal cash

positions.


Business Partnering & Strategic Support

• Collaborate with sales, supply chain, and operations teams to support business

decisions with financial insights.

• Evaluate capital investments, product profitability, and business expansion proposals.

• Provide financial leadership in pricing strategy, cost structure, and operational

efficiency improvements.


Team Leadership & Development

• Lead and mentor the finance and accounts team to ensure accuracy, compliance, and

productivity.

• Build a high-performing finance function aligned with business growth and group

objectives.
