Job Description – Field Sales Executive (Industrial Automation)

Position: Field Sales Executive – Industrial Automation

Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat

Experience: 1–3 Years (Freshers with technical aptitude may also apply)

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and energetic Field Sales Executive to promote and sell Industrial Automation solutions, including PLC, SCADA, HMI, IIoT, EMS, BESS Monitoring, Industrial Software, Control Panels, and Automation Services. The role involves customer visits, lead generation, solution selling, and relationship management with industrial clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in manufacturing, process industries, OEMs, EPC contractors, and utilities.
  • Conduct regular field visits to factories, industrial estates, and project sites.
  • Generate leads through cold calling, networking, references, and market mapping.
  • Understand customer requirements and coordinate with technical teams to develop suitable automation solutions.
  • Present company capabilities, products, and services to prospective customers.
  • Follow up on inquiries, quotations, and proposals to close sales opportunities.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and identify upselling opportunities.
  • Track market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
  • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities in CRM systems.
  • Coordinate with engineering and project teams to ensure successful project execution.

Required Skills

  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to interact confidently with Plant Heads, Maintenance Managers, Electrical Engineers, and Purchase Teams.
  • Basic understanding of Industrial Automation concepts.
  • Good negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated with a target-oriented approach.

Proficiency in MS Office and email communication
