Job Description

Role Summary

We are looking for an Export Business Development Manager who will independently identify, develop, and manage international sales channels for our industrial pump range. This is a hands-on, ownership-driven role — you will be responsible for mapping global markets, finding the right channel partners, and converting opportunities into sustained export revenue.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute a comprehensive export strategy covering target geographies, industries, and customer segments for AODD pumps and related industrial products.

Create detailed market mind maps identifying where the product is used across industries, who the potential end-users are, who the distributors and channel partners are, and what the competitive landscape looks like in each target market.

Identify, evaluate, and onboard international distributors, dealers, channel partners, and agents across priority export markets.

Build and manage relationships with overseas partners through regular online communication — video calls, emails, and digital presentations — representing Hi-Life professionally on the global stage.

Research and recommend optimal export channels, trade routes, and market entry strategies for each region.

Structure and negotiate commercial terms including pricing for export, payment terms (LC, TT, DA/DP), Incoterms, and credit periods appropriate to each market and partner.

Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and internal teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment and documentation (shipping bills, certificates of origin, packing lists, invoices).

Represent Hi-Life at international trade shows, exhibitions, and buyer-seller meets as needed.

Track export enquiries, pipeline, and conversions systematically and report progress to the management.

Stay updated on export incentives, DGFT schemes, and regulatory requirements relevant to industrial goods.
