Position Business Development Manager (BDM) / Business Development Executive (BDE)


DepartmentSales & Business Development

Role OverviewThe Business Development Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, developing client relationships, and managing the sales pipeline. The role involves strategic planning, team leadership, and closing high-value deals to expand the company’s client base.


Key Responsibilities

  • Business Growth & Strategy Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve revenue targets.
  • Identify new market opportunities, partnerships, and customer segments.
  • Create sales plans to increase client acquisition and retention.


Client Acquisition

  • Generate and convert qualified leads into paying clients.
  • Conduct consultative sales meetings to understand client requirements.
  • Present company services and solutions to potential clients.


Sales Pipeline Management

  • Manage the end-to-end sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure.
  • Maintain and track opportunities using CRM/Excel systems.
  • Ensure consistent follow-up with prospects.


Team Leadership

  • Lead and mentor Business Development Executives (BDEs).
  • Set performance targets and monitor team productivity.
  • Conduct training sessions to improve sales performance.


Relationship Management

  • Build long-term relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Maintain strong client engagement to generate repeat business and referrals.


Market Analysis

  • Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitor strategies, and customer needs.
  • Provide strategic insights to improve service offerings.

  • Monthly Revenue Targets

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field is a plus point.
  • For BDM 2–7 years experience in business development or sales
  • For BDE 1-2 years experience is business development or sales
  • Experience in consulting, financial services, startup advisory, or government schemes consulting preferred
