Job Description

Accountant – Jewellery Showroom

  • Job Responsibilities : Maintain daily accounts, sales, purchase, receipts, and payment entries.
  • Handle cash, bank, UPI, card, and other payment reconciliations.
  • Maintain jewellery stock-related accounting records and coordinate with the inventory team.
  • Record purchases, sales returns, discounts, making charges, wastage, and other jewellery-related transactions.
  • Prepare and verify GST invoices, e-invoices/e-way bills, and GST-related records as applicable.
  • Reconcile customer and supplier accounts.
  • Monitor outstanding payments and receivables.
  • Prepare daily/monthly sales and financial reports.
  • Assist with GST, TDS, income-tax, audit, and statutory compliance.
  • Verify invoices, vouchers, expenses, and supporting documents.
  • Coordinate with management, auditors, banks, suppliers, and other departments.
  • Maintain confidentiality of financial and customer information.
  • Ensure proper documentation and accurate bookkeeping.
