Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Read Blueprints: Study technical drawings to find the right dimensions and finish goals.
  • Operate Machines: Run cylindrical, surface, or CNC grinding machines to remove tiny layers of material.
  • Inspect Parts: Use precision tools like micrometers and calipers to check that parts match exact rules.
  • Maintain Equipment: Dress and change worn grinding wheels, add coolant, and clean the machine.
