Job Summary:

Worked 3 years+ in Data Science and Machine learning on any cloud platform (AWS, Oracle, Google, Azure) in any industry.

As a Senior Data Science and Machine Learning Expert, you will play a crucial role in driving the strategic use of data and advanced analytics to solve complex business problems. Leveraging your extensive experience in data science and machine learning, you will lead a team of data scientists and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions that contribute to business success. 

Responsibilities:

1. **Leadership and Strategy:**

   - Provide strategic direction for the organization's data science and machine learning initiatives.

   - Collaborate with senior management to align data science goals with overall business objectives.

   - Mentor and lead a team of data scientists, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

2. **Data Analysis and Modelling:**

   - Conduct in-depth analysis of large and complex datasets to extract valuable insights.

   - Develop and deploy advanced machine learning models for predictive and prescriptive analytics.

   - Utilize statistical methods to validate models and ensure their reliability and accuracy.

3. **Algorithm Development:**

   - Design and implement cutting-edge machine learning algorithms to address business challenges.

   - Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, incorporating them into the development process.

4. **Collaboration:**

   - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, business analysts, and domain experts, to integrate machine learning models into operational systems.

   - Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, fostering understanding and support for data-driven decision-making.

5. **Data Governance and Quality:**

   - Ensure the integrity and quality of data used in machine learning models.

   - Implement and enforce data governance best practices to maintain a high standard of data quality and security.

6. **Continuous Improvement:**

   - Stay abreast of advancements in data science and machine learning, incorporating new techniques and technologies into existing processes.

   - Drive the adoption of best practices and methodologies within the data science team.

Qualifications:

- Advanced degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics).

- Proven experience in data science, machine learning, and statistical modeling.

- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, or Java.

- Extensive experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and libraries (e.g., scikit-learn).

- Solid understanding of data engineering principles and data preprocessing techniques.

- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.

- Strong leadership and communication skills.

- Work across cloud platforms, machine learning tools and generative AI tools.

- Ability to learn the Financial services business and interact with Business heads.
