Engineer - BESS
- Lead EMS and SCADA system design for utility-scale BESS projects.
- Develop system architecture, control philosophies, and operational strategies.
- Design and configure SCADA applications, HMI screens, alarms, and reporting dashboards.
- Integrate EMS with BMS, PCS, SCADA, PPC, weather stations, meters, and utility systems.
- Define communication architecture using industry-standard protocols.
- Develop energy optimization, peak shaving, load shifting, and frequency regulation strategies.
- Coordinate with Electrical, PCS, Controls, Cybersecurity, and Commissioning teams.
- Support FAT, SAT, commissioning, and site performance validation activities.
- Ensure grid code compliance and utility communication requirements.
- Analyze operational data and recommend system performance improvements.
- Manage EMS/SCADA vendors and review technical deliverables.
- Troubleshoot operational issues and provide technical support during project execution.
- B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Automation, Computer Science, or related discipline.
- M.Tech in Power Systems, Control Systems, Energy Systems, or Automation preferred.
