Executive / Asst. Manager - Industrial Safety Design
Experience in large equipment manufacturing, construction equipment, infrastructure projects, heavy engineering, or construction sites is preferred.
Experience in integrating safety requirements during product design and development of Construction and Mining equipment is an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with Design and Engineering teams to incorporate safety requirements during product development.
- Knowledge of applicable legal requirements.
- Review engineering designs, layouts, drawings, and specifications for safety compliance.
- Conduct Design Safety Reviews, HAZID, HAZOP, HIRA, JSA and Risk Assessments.
- Recommend design modifications to minimize safety risks.
- Ensure compliance in Factories Act requirements, Fire Safety, CCOE, Electrical Safety, Material Handling Safety and Site Safety.
- Support emergency preparedness and fire risk assessments.
- Conduct safety audits, inspections and compliance reviews.
- Maintain safety documentation and statutory compliance records.
- Conduct safety awareness and training programs.
