Job Description (JD) – Outbound Sales Executive (DigiKhata & Retail Services)

Position: Outbound Sales Executive

Department: Sales

Location: Mira Road (Nearby station)

Reporting To: Team Leader / Sales Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and target-driven Outbound Sales Executive to promote and sell DigiKhata and other retail services offered by PayPoint India. The role involves contacting potential customers through outbound calls, explaining product benefits, generating leads, and converting prospects into active users and customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Make outbound calls to retailers, merchants, and prospective customers.
  • Promote DigiKhata and other retail services such as:
  • AEPS (Aadhaar Enabled Payment System)
  • Money Transfer Services
  • BBPS (Bill Payment Services)
  • PAN Card Services
  • Insurance Products
  • Loan Services
  • Recharge & Utility Payment Services
  • Explain product features, benefits, and usage to customers.
  • Generate new business opportunities and onboard retailers.
  • Follow up with leads and convert them into active customers.
  • Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
  • Maintain customer data and sales records in CRM/software.
  • Resolve customer queries and provide after-sales support.
  • Coordinate with field sales and operations teams for smooth onboarding.
  • Prepare and submit regular sales performance reports.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Graduate or Undergraduate with relevant experience.
  • 0–3 years of experience in Outbound Sales, Telecalling, Telesales, or Customer Service.
  • Good communication and convincing skills in Hindi and local language.
  • Ability to handle customer objections and close sales.
  • Basic knowledge of computers and CRM tools.
  • Self-motivated and target-oriented mindset.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in Fintech, Banking, Financial Services, Telecom, or Retail Sales.
  • Knowledge of merchant acquisition and digital financial products.
  • Experience in selling B2B or retailer-focused products.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Number of outbound calls made.
  • Leads generated and converted.
  • Retailer onboarding count.
  • DigiKhata activations and usage.
  • Revenue generated from retail services.
  • Customer retention and engagement.
