Job Description

A Telesales Executive is a sales professional who drives company revenue by promoting and selling products or services over the phone. They are responsible for generating leads, qualifying prospects, pitching tailored solutions, and closing deals while maintaining accurate customer databases and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation & Cold Calling: Proactively contact existing and potential customers to generate interest and identify sales opportunities. [1, 2]
  • Sales Pitching & Closing: Present products/services, overcome customer objections, and utilize persuasive techniques to close sales and meet monthly targets. [1, 2]
  • Upselling & Cross-selling: Analyze customer needs to recommend upgraded tiers or additional, complementary products. [1]
  • Database Management: Log and update accurate records of all calls, customer interactions, and purchase orders using CRM Systems. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
  • Customer Support: Answer inquiries, process purchases, and liaise with relevant departments to resolve complaints and maintain strong account relationships. [1, 2]


Essential Requirements


  • Education & Experience: High school diploma or Bachelor's degree with proven experience in telesales, telemarketing, or a customer-facing sales role.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal communication, active listening, and a clear, persuasive phone manner.
  • Resilience: A target-driven mindset with the ability to handle rejection calmly and stay motivated in a fast-paced environment.
