Composite Tooling Engineer

Candidate is expected to design tooling for manufacture of composite material products

Candidate is expected to have basic knowledge of composite materials, CAD software and design

Candidate is expected to have knowledge of  structural analysis using FE software like Hypermesh, ANSYS. Structural analysis and thermal analysis capability is expected. Tool design should cater for material selection, thermal aspects, weight optimisation and tool operation to be considered.

Candidate should be able to interact with manufacturing team and understand the requirements of manufacturing in addition to tooling, like platforms and other fixtures that are needed. Design of all these other auxillary fixtures and components to be done.

Candidate to co-ordinate with tooling vendors and manufacturers, evaluate the design, follow-up and get the tool cleared from vendors and assist till tool prove out and component prove out.
