Manager - Vehicle Logistics

Major Challenges & Key Success Factors 

  • Timely submission of Vehicle Logistics Budgets to Finance team
  • Lead and Drive TVM for Efficiencies. Conduct TVM Workshops and Co-ordinate with Operations team to Generate ideas and implement the same for efficiency
  • Ensure Freight Costing is accurate for New model Programs and all new Launches. Track New launches with Operations team to ensure readiness
  • Co ordinate with Operations team, Finance team and Leadership team to ensure all communications are latest
  • Ensure Finished Vehicles Inventories are optimized and within budget and targets
  • Envision Now, Near & Far priorities/ Strategies for the section & defining the tasks and objectives for the team.
  • Lead, Represent & Contribute in outbound related leadership reviews (BPR, DOS, TVM, Freight & Inventory Forecast, JV Support, P2P Projects)  

3. Key Responsibilities

Budget, TVM & Contract Management

Drive Contract management process and efficiencies

 Lead Vehicle Logistics budget submissions activities, Inventory tasks, budgets and targets Lead TVM initiatives for IMG Vehicle Logistics team and drive the team to achieve TVM targets Drive Freight & processes efficiencies through strategies for Storage, Transportation & Network etc. Lead, Represent & Contribute in outbound related leadership reviews (BPR, DOS, TVM, Freight & Inventory Forecast, JV Support, P2P Projects) Forward Model Costing, New Model Launch & AuditsDrive processes and activities for supporting New programs & Launch for OBL in IMG Drive Compliance & Audit activities for IMG Outbound Review and audit MCRP/ISO requirements to ensure that required controls are in placeLeadership Reviews and Team DevelopmentEmbrace Technology and digitize the Outbound process Motivate & mentor team continuously with one team mindset and deliver results continuously Right Identification of resources and allocation of right tasks to the team members. Enhance the skill sets of teams by encouraging continuous learning and giving trainings, Work on Insourcing opportunities / COE activities
