Transaxle Design Engineer

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

a) Design of transmission components like gear, shafts,Crown Wheel, Planetary & bearing selection
b) Basic understanding on Transmission architecture and Layouts
c) Able to perform System level / components calculations in ROMAX and Kisssoft softwares
d) Preparation of 2D part / Sub assembly drawings and 3D modelling
e) Working knowledge on Tolerance analysis and stacking
f) Knowledge on manufacturing processes, DFA
g) Skills on DFMEA
h) Resolving Failures concerns (Lab, Field)
i) Adherence to project timelines for drawing release

Experience

3 - 4 Yrs

Industry Preferred

Tractor/Automotive Transmission

Qualifications

Bachelor in Engineering (Mechanical / Automobile)

General Requirements

Understand customer needs
Displays commitment towards promised delivery to the customer
Exhibits openness to accept ideas from others

Functional Competencies:

Software proficieincy - ROMAX, Kisssoft & UG
Knowledge on materials
GD&T
Good fundamental knowledge on mechanical engineering
